“We stayed at the Lightner Farmhouse and loved every minute of it. Eileen, Dennis and their housekeeper Bettie were gracious hosts. Breakfast was very good. Having read over 50 books on the Battle of Gettysburg as well as visiting the Battlefield many many times, I never stayed overnight in Gettysburg. I live just less than 3 hours away from Gettysburg and always did day trips. There was a special connection made staying at the Lightner Farmhouse. I would of never made that connection if all I did was day trips to this beautiful and historic area. I highly recommend the Lightner Farmhouse B&B and I hope to use it for my upcoming annual Gettysburg visits- no more day trips for us!”
